I worked on our guest bathroom last week and I told my momma I would put up some pictures.... so I thought I'd share on here while I was on a marathon posting adventure!!

First Time to see "the ocean"

Sunday we took Benjamin to Kemah for the first time. It was his first time to see "the ocean", if you consider the bay to be the ocean... close enough for me!! Jason loves being near the water and everything that goes with it. Since Ben already loves being outside so much, I'm sure he'll be the same way!!

Amy's Baby Shower

We had Amy's first baby shower here at our house last Saturday. Let's just say it was a shower in every sense of the word! The weather was TERRIBLE. We got about 8" of rain that day. Needless to say, many were flooded in, soaking wet, etc. It was such a mess, but we made the best of it. Thank you everyone for coming to the shower and for all your help!

New Haircut...

In all my absence from blogging I forgot to mention the new do. I took Ben a couple weeks ago to get a new hair cut for Spring and Summer....

P.S. This is the mischief I deal with on a daily basis... how do mothers of multiples do it?! (Also this picture is before the haircut, looks like such a hippie-child!)

April Showers...

We've really had some issues with keeping Benjamin content inside. Every time a door opens he wants to go out it and throws an absolute fit when we shut it without his passing through it! One afternoon last week I thought it would be a grand idea to go out on the back porch and let him see the rain, never thinking that he would want to play in the rain... This is what came of my terrible attempt at parenting!!! lol

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter. It's such an awesome celebration!! The weather was yucky during the first half of the day, but it turned out to be a really nice afternoon. We went to church that morning and then went to Jason's PaPaw's house for lunch, egg hunting and Easter baskets. We had a great day!

Ken-tuck-EEEE

We had a great trip to Kentucky. We drove to Mom and Dad's house and spent two nights and then drove from there to Kentucky on a Saturday. Ben was excellent in the car. There were definitely a few times I wanted to pull my hair out on the 11 hour drive to Kentucky since he only slept about an hour and a half the entire way there. Once we were there we spent lots of time with family. Benjamin got to see great-grandparents, great-aunts & uncles, great,great-aunts and uncles, second cousins, etc. etc, It was a great visit.

He was an absolute mess this night. We were out to eat and he almost literally was entertaining EVERYONE in the restaurant that night. I was mortified, my family thought it was hilarious... thanks guys!

Busy...

I just realized it's been almost a month since I last posted, how terrible of me!! Jason and I started P90X right after Ben and I got back from Kentucky so what used to be my "computer time" has become my workout time. So please forgive me. I have about 300 pictures on my camera from the last few weeks. Once I get them all uploaded, I'll be posting quite a few. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, it's such an awesome celebration!
