Fredericksburg Weekend!

Life has been absolutely crazy lately. Great, but crazy! We've been in and out of town three times in less than a month! As I showed in the previous post I went to Jenny's bachelorette weekend in DFW. Then the very next weekend we went on a couples trip with three other couples to Fredericksburg. Nana and Pawpaw were kind enough to keep Benjamin at their house for the weekend so we could get away.

We had never been to Fredericksburg, but I've decided that I want to live there one day. I love it there! We had a ton of fun while we were there. We stayed at The Cameron Inn, which I would highly recommend to anyone. It was VERY nice. We had a lot of food, went shopping and toured some of the vineyards in the area. These vineyards/wineries are absolutely GORGEOUS! The archetecture and breathtaking views are amazing. We actually met one of the owners who was very kind and passionate about his work. It was a great learning experience. I had no idea that much went into the business.

I'm Behind!

I haven't been great at posting lately... shame on me!

We had an excellent time in Las Vegas with a wide assortment of people. Now I can finally talk about it because part of the group was a surprise for my mom's 50th birthday! Jason and I flew out to Las Vegas with his brother, Brian, and his wife, Staci. My mom and dad flew out to meet us and then my aunt and uncle from Kentucky and my cousin from San Diego met us as well. Mom didn't know Aunt Denise, Uncle Dennis and Tara were meeting us there. It was classic! She was SOOOO surprised. (Mom, I hope you enjoyed your surprise.... you're a hard one to keep a secret from!!!)

We spent our time hanging out, eating, checking out the sights, loitering in the casinos (some did better than others... I would be an "other" in this situation!) We had an absolutely wonderful time.

Jason's parents were kind enough to keep Ben at our house while were we gone. I really missed the little guy, but I did really well for my first time away from him. It was really great to be home and back to my baby at the end of the trip.
